Project 2025

- Project 2025 is the extreme policy and personnel playbook for Trump's second term that should scare the hell out of the American people, Biden campaign spokesperson Ammar Moussa said Friday in a statement according to CNN.

Project 2025 is spearheaded by former Trump administration officials and is associated with the conservative think tank Heritage Foundation. The project promotes controversial and ultra-conservative ideas that have not been officially endorsed by Trump himself.

These ideas include banning pornography, removing morning-after pills and male contraceptives from public health insurance coverage, and creating barriers for transgender adults seeking sex reassignment surgery.

Moreover, the project aims to overturn the approval of the abortion pill mifepristone. Despite Trump's indication that he won't restrict access to the pill, anti-abortion advocates in the US, including the conservative groups behind Project 2025, are pushing to outlaw mifepristone.
